This is the mountain you will be hiking! Although it looks high and steep from this vantage point, the trail you will be following is smooth and fairly easy. The evergreen trees in the foreground are Red Spruce, and the ones in the background are Fraser Fir. Just downstream from here, Flat Laurel Creek begins dropping over scenic cascades as it spills out of this relatively flat valley.
