Burnt Tree Peninsula Trail

Easy
  • Some tight and sharp turns with no unavoidable obstacles. Travels through a young forest of mostly pines and oaks; looks recently burned.
  • 1.0mi, Climbs Gently, Some Obstacles

Burrell Cove Trail

Moderate
  • Provides access to SABA Beach. There
  • 1.7mi, Few Hills, Some Obstacles

Central Loop Trail

Moderate
  • No unavoidable obstacles. All-access trail to other optional trails. Travels through a mostly young forest, with glimpses of the lake at times. No major stream crossings.
  • 3.1mi, Few Hills, Some Obstacles

High Point Trail

Moderate
  • Steeper trail with more rocks than others at Jackrabbit Mountain. Nice view from the top.
  • 1.0mi, Climbs Moderately, Moderately Rough

SABA Beach Trail

Easy
  • Nearly level trail provides access to SABA Beach.
  • 0.7mi, Few Hills, Moderately Rough

Sneaking Creek Trail

Moderate
  • Mostly open "lollipop" loop with a few short climbs and descents, and a covered bridge. Longest trail in the Jackrabbit system. At the "tip" of the loop, you're only about 1/10 mile north of the GA state line.
  • 3.2mi, Few Hills, Some Obstacles

Upper Ridge Trail

Moderate
  • Small obstacles such as rock crossings and tighter turns. Comes close to the ridgetop where deer like to forage. You'll hear other hikers and riders on the Central Loop, which is not far down the slope from you at most times.
  • 1.5mi, Few Hills, Some Obstacles

Yotee's Run Trail

Moderate
  • Great views. Short to moderate climbs with somewhat steeper side slopes.
