"Technical Trail Features" are designed into the new Airstrip trail, such as this stair-stepped rock shoulder. You'll find these on the Laurel Ridge and Corn Mill Shoals re-routes as well, as designed by Trail Dynamics. These give the rider two options: the easy grade of the main tread or the technical option of the rocks! To the right of the bike, you can see a section of a rock-armored gulley that makes a TTF as well.
