High-elevation mountain vegetation along the Art Loeb/Mountains to Sea Trail just south of Black Balsam Road. This is typical of all the nearby areas above 5000'. You can find red spruce, fraser fir, birch, mountan-ash, mountain laurel, rhododendron, blueberry, smooth raspberry, grasses, ground pine, and rock lichens all in this photo!
