New Bridge and Cliffs

During a heavy rainstorm, a large section of the Forest Stroll trail slid down the mountain. The trailbed is an old jeep road, so this bridge was built to cross the ravine and it was built strong enough to carry a fully loaded pickup truck. Far above, the cliffs at the edge of the Hickory Nut Gorge loom in the sunlight - and this is the cliff band over which Hickory Nut Falls falls!
