Looking east from the Craggy Gardens Visitor Center, which is the start of the Craggy Gardens hike. The fall color was crappy the year I took this shot. This is the watershed for the city of Asheville. Stopping along the parkway in this watershed is prohibited, except for overlooks such as this.
