Fir Wave on the Black Mountains Crest

A Fir Wave approaches the Black Mountains Crest trail. Fir trees at the top of the "wave" die due to wind and exposure, and this line of dead trees moves uphill. New trees grow at the lower end of the wave, and it is a natural cycle.
