The Gate trail winds up in Robert Lake Park, crossing this bridge just before reaching its end at the Nature Center. Probably one of the best playgrounds in WNC, Robert Lake Park features a ton of great playground equipment spread out around two crystal-clear streams with numerous pools, boulders, and islands. Hike this trail to the park in th summer and be sure to bring the kids a change of clothes!
