This Catawba Rhododendron is in full bloom in mid June in the Waterrock Knob parking area. Certain areas, such as Roan Mountain Gardens, Craggy Gardens, and Graveyard Fields are covered with these bushes, putting on quite a spectacular display when they're all in bloom.
