Lane Pinnacle From Above

Lane Pinnacle, the first mountain above 5000' in elevation as you head north from Asheville on the parkway, as seen from its adjacent ridge. The cliffs on top of which I am standing are dramatically visible from the Parkway. The Mountains to Sea Trail follows this ridge.
