Hiking at The Pines Recreation Area

Overview

The Pines Recreation Area is a public access recreation area on the shore of Lake Glenville between Cullowhee and Cashiers, NC.

It's near the reservoir's dam and features a swim beach, picnic tables, a fishing pier, and toilets. There is also boat access. The area has plenty of parking, but the lots may fill up on summer weekends or when there is a water release, so arrive early to secure a spot.

There is no fee for use of the area and parking is also free.
