Description

An easy walk, mostly on an old roadbed, to the base of this beautiful waterfall. Starting in some old farmland with exotic flowering plant species, the trail then passes through a bottomland forest of hemlocks and hardwoods, with some big boulders on either side. It climbs just a little bit right before the base of the falls. Overall, a great trail for a quick hike to a nice waterfall, and families with kids.

Note: the Forest Service completed improvements to this trail including "resurfacing" in Spring 2015, and an accessible observation deck was constructed at the end of the trail at the falls.
